We make leather bags that are meant to be kept.

Every piece starts as full-grain leather, the outermost layer of the hide and the only part strong enough to carry weight for decades. Cheaper goods use split or corrected grain, sanded down and coated to hide the flaws in the skin. We do not, because that coating is exactly what cracks.

Made by hand

Our bags are cut, skived and stitched by hand in small workshops. Seams are stitched rather than glued. Hardware is solid brass. Zippers are heavy gauge. Strap anchors are reinforced, because a bag is only ever as strong as the points that take the strain.

Built to age

Full-grain leather does not stay looking new, and it is not meant to. It darkens, softens and takes on a patina that belongs to the person carrying it. A bag that looks better after five years than it did on the first day is the entire point.

Every bag carries a five year warranty on hardware and stitching, sixty day returns with return shipping covered, and up to four initials blind embossed into the leather tag at no charge.
