Every product page lists the exact measurements for that bag. This page explains how to read them.

How we measure

• Width is the bag at its widest point, side to side.
• Height is base to the top of the body, not including handles.
• Depth is front to back at the base.
• Strap drop is the distance from the top of the shoulder strap down to the bag.

Choosing by laptop

The laptop sleeve measurement is what matters, not the outer width. A sleeve listed at 36cm takes a 14 inch laptop comfortably. A sleeve listed at 40cm takes a 16 inch laptop. Every product page names the largest size it holds.

Choosing by trip

• One to two nights. A weekender of roughly 40 litres.
• Three to four nights. A larger holdall of 50 litres or more.
• Daily carry. A briefcase or tote sized to your laptop plus a folder.
